Our weekly Legislative Meetings are scheduled to take place at the John Paul Rodrigues Center.

Join us at Louis Engel Park on the Ossining Waterfront for an exciting lineup of artists curated by Mike Risko Music. Tonight, The Force will take the stage at 7 PM.

The OBCC is organizing a Family Fun Fishing Day on Sunday, August 27th, from 12 PM to 4 PM.

 

The Bethany Arts Community Center is hosting a Bronze Metal Clay Jewelry workshop with Barbara Kirby on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, starting September 23rd.

Campwoods Summer Sundays - Karen McDonald

🌞 Campwoods Summer Sundays presents Karen McDonald, a professional ballroom champion and certified tai chi-qi gong instructor. Join her for interactive dance, storytelling, and healing movements. Attend her complimentary "8 Pieces Brocade" Tai Ji - Qi Gong classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00-4:45 PM via Zoom or outdoors at Campwoods (weather permitting). Thursday, August 31st, as The Mike Risko Band takes the stage at The Garage at Lucy's. Enjoy their performance from 8 PM to 10 PM.

From September 1st to 4th, the Center at Mariandale is hosting a event called "Read, Rest, and Renew." Take this opportunity to relax, rejuvenate, and immerse yourself in reading.

The Westchester County Multilingual Job Fair is scheduled for Thursday, September 28th, from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Westchester County Center (198 Central Ave, White Plains). Participation, along with parking, is absolutely free. 💼👥

 

From August 1st to September 10th, make a meaningful impact by donating blood with the New York Blood Center during the Pint for a Pint Event. As a token of appreciation, you'll receive a coupon for a complimentary beverage. Your contribution has the power to save lives.

 

The NAMI Family-To-Family program is an 8-week course designed to assist family members in comprehending and aiding individuals dealing with mental health conditions, all while taking care of their own well-being. The program runs every Saturday morning starting September 9th - October 28th, from 9 AM to 11:30 AM.

 

Theater classes are scheduled to start on September 5th and continue until October 24th. The classes will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

 

Join the Summer Sketch Journal Workshop hosted by Hudson Valley Books for Humanity. From July 11, 2023, to August 29, 2023, every Tuesday at 5 PM. The cost is $25. For more details and registration, contact Betsy at . 🎨📚

Experience "Ossining Story Time Live" with village historian Joyce Sharrock Cole this Saturday, August 26th, from 6 PM to 8 PM at 30 State Street.

On August 26th at Hudson Valley Books for Humanity, the Blind Tiger Improv presents "The Side Stage." Admission is only $10. 🎭

The Bethany Arts Community Center will host the Westchester Songwriters Circle on September 9, 2023, at 8 PM.

The Golden Door Support Program is a free mental health support program for all New York state residents that aims to help achieve stability for you and your family, regardless of immigration status. The program will start on August 17, 2023, and will be held every Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM via the Microsoft Teams platform. Saturday, September 2nd, there will be a Westchester Reggae Festival at the Westchester County Center, starting at 7 PM.

🎬 White Plains Hospital presents Screenings Under the Stars at the Kensico Dam Plaza. Gates open at 5:30 PM. The movie starts at sundown at Kensico Dam Plaza. 🌟 Free admission for all! 🌟 🍿 Delicious snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase, adding to the perfect movie-watching experience.

 

TC Entertainment Karaoke Night every Wednesday night from 7 PM to 10 PM at the Woods Tavern Bar & Grill, located at 400 Croton Dam Rd, Ossining, NY 10562. Make your reservations by calling 914-864-3009.

Visit our local library at 53 Croton Avenue for fun activities to partake in.

Logrea Dance Academy is offering a free open house class on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This opportunity is open for ages 4 to 18.
