Route 134 Closure Update and Detour Instructions
- Details

As a reminder, the NYS Department of Transportation will be working on replacement of a culvert at the intersection of Route 9A and Route 134/Croton Dam Road beginning on Monday, September 11th (weather permitting), which will cause Route 134/Croton Dam Road just west of 9A to be closed until September 22nd, and possibly extended until September 29th. As a result, traffic will be detoured. Although this will be inconvenient for many of us, this work has been planned for many years, and will allow the Town Highway Department the opportunity to replace a stormwater pipe underneath the road without having to open it up ourselves. Once complete, this will be a win-win for everyone and we very much look forward to getting it underway.

Marc has played Austin's SXSW Music Festival and the Kerrville and Falcon Ridge Folk Festivals, and has opened for some of the industry's greats including Bob Dylan. You will be instantly transported to the American West from your spot on the lawn at Louis Engel Park. Greecy Gyro will be there cooking their specialties, so don't waste time in the kitchen-- come eat with us!
One night of music not enough? On Saturday, September 9th, local band Jigsaww will perform in honor of their former band leader, Phil Ishmael, who passed away in May of 2016. The music, singing and dancing will begin at 6PM on the Louis Engel Park stage-- this is a free event, but please consider making a donation to benefit Phil's family. We hope to see you at the waterfront this weekend.
