We are slowly but surely getting back to normal in the Town and Village of Ossining. We know that there are still some neighborhoods without power from Friday's storm, and several that lost power between Wednesday and today-- Con Edison has said that they are working on restoring the customers who have been out the longest first. There are also several outages that are tied to major outages in New Castle and Cortlandt, which we have been assured are also at the top of the list for restoration.
Thanks to everyone for their continued patience in what has been an unpleasant (to say the least) week for so many. We are extremely lucky to have such incredible crews and leadership out in the Village and Town-- special thanks to Town Highway Superintendent Michael G. O'Connor, Village Engineer Paul Fraioli, Chief Kevin Sylvester and Lieutenant Slater from the Ossining PD, OVAC, the Ossining Fire Department, and all of the boots on the ground from both the Town and Village of Ossining who have been busting their humps for days to keep us all safe. Thank you for proving, yet again, that the residents of Ossining are in good hands.
