Project Mover will be at this year’s Ossining Earth Day festival at the Village of Ossining’s booth. Here, the community will have the opportunity to view the ACTON bikes and take a survey regarding the locations of docking stations, safety, and access. This is a great way to share your thoughts on this emerging technology and see first-hand how it works.

To encourage New Yorkers to get back on subways, buses, and trains, and to reduce the cost and worry surrounding everyday travel, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has announced a pilot fare program that is more affordable, more flexible and more fair. The main changes are as follows:
- Fare Capping Pilot for New York City Transit – Free Unlimited Rides Achieved After 12 OMNY Taps Automatically, Monday Through Sunday
- LIRR and Metro-North to Offer New 20-Trip Tickets and 10% Discount Off of Monthly Tickets
- To Encourage Commuter Rail Ridership Within New York City, MTA to Extend Weekend ‘City Ticket’ Pricing to Weekday Off-Peak Trains
The temporary promotional changes to fare structures will begin Feb. 28 for New York City Transit and Feb. 25 for commuter rail tickets. The pilot will last for at least four months. Click here to read more about the changes.

Earn Cash Back and Help the Environment by Saving Electricity at Specific Times with GridRewards!
The Town of Ossining is committed to sustainable and efficient practices for our residents. In partnership with Sustainable Westchester, we are excited to promote the GridRewards app. Learn more at https://sustainablewestchester.org/gridrewards/ and download GridRewards at https://getgridrewards.com/ and begin your carbon reduction journey!
Earn Cash Back for Energy Efficient Actions
Importantly, there are a few times during the seasons when you can earn cash back by taking simple actions like raising your AC set points for a couple of hours. The app will notify you when these “GridRewards” events occur.
Where does the money come from?
Con Edison wants to pay you to reduce electricity at peak demand times to reduce stress on the grid and avoid running the most polluting, carbon intense, power plants.
How do I participate?
GridRewards is open to most anyone with a Con Ed utility bill. Homeowners, renters, apartment dwellers, condo-owners, and small businesses can use GridRewards to reduce electricity and earn cash back. Plus, use your referral code to give $10 and get $10 with each friend that signs up and participates. Download the app and link it to your ConEd account today!
