The Village of Briarcliff Manor is seeking to hire forty-hour per week Seasonal Laborers in the Department of Public Works. The vast majority of work that these seasonal positions will be performing will include but are not limited to performing planting, general landscaping, mowing, weed-whacking, watering plants, weeding, brush pick-up, leaf pick-up, and recycling. They have two openings available for immediate employment.

Hourly wages are sixteen dollars ($16) per hour.

These positions are available at the beginning of April for 4-months. Additional seasonal opportunities may open throughout the year for 4-month stints and may continue through the end of the year.

County Executive George Latimer and Westchester County Association President and CEO, Michael Romita, recently announced the launch of the Westchester County Association Healthcare Talent Pipeline Program.

The Healthcare Talent Pipeline Program (HTTP) funded by Westchester County will recruit disadvantaged job seekers and incumbent workers who will be trained by Westchester Community College and SWBOES for certified nursing assistants, medical assistant and medical administrative assistant jobs. Participants will also receive computer, job readiness and service excellence training.

Nonprofit Westchester and other nonprofits will assist with recruitment and support services. The employer partners include ENT & Allergy Associates, Westmed/Summit Health, Open Door Family Medical Center, STEM Alliance, and United Hebrew of New Rochelle

Tech Tutoring is back at the Ossining Public Library, in person! At Tech Tutoring appointments, you can receive help with basic computer skills and use of library e-resources. As of February 16, registration is open for the County's Muscoot Young Farmer's Camp. Children entering grades one through eight will learn how to take care of the animals on the farm, participate in farm chores and activities like ponding, hiking, cooking and crafts. One week sessions are being offered beginning Monday, June 27 through Friday, Aug. 12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. $350 per camper per week. Click here to learn more and apply.

On February 23, registration opens for the County's Parks Conservation Division Camps. Boys and girls entering grades one through nine can explore and discover the natural environment of Westchester County with fun, hands-on experiences at our nature centers.
