🔥 Heat Advisory for Westchester County 🔥
Today through Saturday evening, extreme heat and humidity will result in temperatures feeling over 100 degrees. Our Spray Park hours have been extended to 8 PM and the Joseph G. Caputo Community Center at 95 Broadway is available as a cooling center until 9 PM tonight and again tomorrow. Residents should avoid strenuous activity, stay hydrated, limit alcohol and caffeine intake, and take precautions against heat-related illnesses. Please check on vulnerable individuals, and never leave kids or pets in vehicles. Stay safe! 🌡️☀️🏞️

The County, in coordination with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, is conducting a preliminary damage assessment for the recent rainfall flooding. This assessment will provide crucial data to support a potential request for federal recovery assistance.
Please report any damages you have experienced by filling out the following online survey: NYS Damage Self-Reporting Tool: Homes & Businesses
We encourage you to share this survey with others impacted by the storm. If you are already using another damage report intake tool, please continue using it, but remember to report the results to Westchester County.
The survey is meant to collect information for federal assistance, not duplicate ongoing relief efforts. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated as we work together to secure additional support for our community.
