The low income Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federally funded program administered by the Westchester County Department of Social Services that assists eligible low-income, elderly and disabled residents with home energy costs. New York’s eviction moratorium expired on January 15, 2022, but help is available for those who need it. The County has resources for people struggling with rent - call 211 for help or see below for specific departments who can help.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is available to help households struggling to pay for internet - visit ACPbenefit.org to learn more and apply.

Note for small business owners: the State’s COVID-19 Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program has recently been expanded. Visit nysmallbusinessrecovery.com to learn more and apply for assistance. 

 

Flier says "The Covid-19 Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program has recently been expanded. Small businesses with revenues up to 2.5 million and those that received up to $250,000 in federal PPP loans and small for-profit independent arts and cultural organizations can apply for grants to cover COVID related expenses."
