The Senior Services department offers various assistance programs for health and wellness plus a full schedule of social activities. All programs are open to all Town of Ossining residents sixty years of age or older. Every effort is made to provide transportation, please call for details. The Center is, of course, handicapped accessible.

This brochure developed by the New York State Consumer Protection Board that deals with fraud/scams aimed at the elderly; including scams regarding Travel, Sweepstakes & Lottery, Charity, Work At Home, and Hearing Devices and/or Miracle Cures.
A monthly calendar of events is available upon request from the Ossining Senior Center. A variety of other programs and activities are offered throughout the year. Call the Senior Center for more information or check the Ossining Parks and Recreation seasonal bulletin.
Health Services & Programs
- Nutrition Program - Hot meals are served 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. Any person 60 or older is invited to participate. Advance reservations required by 2pm the day before.
- Home Meals - Meals are available for seniors that are 60 years or older who meet Westchester county Department of Senior Programs and Services eligibility requirements.
- Grocery Shopping - Every Thursday at 12:30 pm to local supermarkets. Transportation provided.
- Medicare Assistance - Call the Senior Services offices for further information.
- Blood Pressure Screening - Second Tuesday of the month 11:30am-12:30pm. Sponsored by Dominican Sisters Health Services.
- RUOK - "Are You Okay?" is a program that phones homebound residents age 60 or older daily to see if they are okay. Calls are made 8am or 9am, your choice. No charge.
- Emergency Info Kit - Medical information kept in a plastic vial, hung on the doorknob in case of emergencies.

Senior Activities
- Art Class - Thursdays 1-4pm with Paul Jeffries at the Center.
- Bingo & Cards - Wednesdays at 12:45 - 2:00 pm.
- Bocce for Seniors - Wednesdays & Fridays, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, all year round at the Center.
- Call-A-Cab - Discount taxi coupons on sale at the center, Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 3:00 pm. Eligible age is for anyone born in 1943 or before, $3.00 each, and limited to 15 coupons per month per senior.
- Computer Learning for Adults - Computer classes for those persons 21 and over. Fee is $50.00. Call to register.
- Dancing - Thursdays 10:30 - 11:30 am with Cameron Kelly.
- Exercise:
- Mondays at 10:15am with Dr. Richard Finewood.
- Wednesdays at 11am with Carl Tucker (YMCA of Tarrytown).
- Library Books - Large print books on loan to the center for three week periods.
- Walking - Every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:30 - 10:00 am. Sneakers required.

- Briarcliff Senior Citizens Club - Meets every Wednesday at the Chilmark Club on Macy Road.
- North Hill Association - Meets monthly in the North Hill Community room.
- Ossining Golden Age Club #1 - Meets Tuesdays at 1:00 pm at the Center.
- Ossining Senior Citizens - Meets every Monday at 1:00 pm at the Center.
